Titans Add Former Seahawks All-Pro WR Tyler Lockett to Boost Offense
The Tennessee Titans have made a significant addition to their wide receiver corps just hours before the 2025 NFL Draft.
Tyler Lockett, a former All-Pro and Pro Bowl wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, announced his signing with the Titans in a post on X.
Lockett, 32, has been a standout talent both as a receiver and kick returner over his ten seasons in Seattle. After parting ways with the Seahawks this offseason, he was a free agent for over a month before joining the Titans, marking the second team of his career.
In his final season with Seattle, Lockett recorded 49 receptions for 600 yards and two touchdowns across 17 games, finishing as the team’s third-leading receiver behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the traded DK Metcalf.
Since being drafted by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Lockett has been a reliable and consistent performer. He posted four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons from 2019 to 2022, building a strong reputation as a top-tier target for Seattle.

Now, Lockett will look to continue that high level of play in Nashville, joining a wide receiver group that includes Calvin Ridley, Van Jefferson, and Treylon Burks. This veteran addition is expected to provide leadership and stability to a young offense in need of experience.
For Lockett, he will be catching passes from projected number-one overall pick, Cam Ward, who is expected to be selected first by the Titans in Thursday’s draft. Alongside Ridley and Jefferson, Lockett’s experience will be vital for a rebuilding Titans passing attack in 2025.
As the Titans prepare for the second season under head coach Brian Callahan, Lockett’s presence gives the offense a valuable boost, potentially improving their performance in the upcoming season.
