Kellan Wyatt is headed to Bloomington, Indiana after leaving the Maryland Terrapins
Indiana football, under the guidance of second-year head coach Curt Cignetti, has made impressive enhancements to its roster this off-season. The Hoosiers have recently secured another addition in former Maryland outside linebacker Kellan Wyatt, according to the South Bend Tribune and various other reports.

Wyatt entered the transfer portal earlier this year and has found a new home in Bloomington. Over three seasons at Maryland, he recorded 80 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks. Last season, he played 428 snaps, primarily as an edge rusher on the defensive line for 368 of those plays.
In 2024, Wyatt faced Indiana and made 1.5 tackles for loss, along with a sack early in the season in September. He participated in 11 games, starting 10, and accumulated 30 tackles (19 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two forced fumbles. He led the team in tackles for loss and ranked second in sacks.
According to Pro Football Focus, Wyatt was the seventh-highest rated defender for Maryland in 2024.
Standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 262 pounds, the rising senior was a three-star recruit and ranked as the No. 12 prospect in Maryland, according to 247Sports. He was also the No. 72 linebacker in the 2022 class while attending Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland.
Wyatt has one year of eligibility remaining with Indiana.
