Bryson Brown, a four-star defensive back from the 2027 class, will be visiting Lincoln this weekend, as he announced on social media. According to Rivals rankings, Brown is ranked 127th overall in the 2027 class and is the third-highest player at his position.
He has an impressive list of offers, including schools like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and Texas A&M, totaling 16 offers overall.
Last season, Brown played in two games for Owasso High School, recording six tackles according to MaxPreps.com.
Currently, Nebraska’s 2027 football recruiting class has no commitments, but the program is planning more visits throughout the summer. The focus seems to be on the safety position, as former Florida Gators commit Devin Jackson, a 2027 safety, is also expected in Lincoln later this summer. Itβs evident that safety is a key priority.
Nebraska is making efforts to cover all aspects of recruiting, with a particular emphasis on safety at this time, raising questions about the recruitment strategy and Brown’s position on the board.
