Auburn Loses Another Offensive Lineman to Transfer Portal
Auburn’s offensive line continues to see changes as another lineman enters the NCAA Transfer Portal. Jaden Muskrat, a graduate transfer, announced his decision to leave the Tigers on Friday, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Muskrat, who transferred to Auburn from Tulsa, has appeared in 45 games during his college career but only made one start, which came at Tulsa. After three years with the Golden Hurricane and two seasons at Auburn, he has one year of eligibility remaining, thanks to an extra year granted to the class of 2020.

Muskrat becomes the second offensive lineman to depart Auburn since the spring transfer window opened, following Bradyn Joiner, who entered the portal after earning Freshman All-SEC honors last season. Joiner has since transferred to Purdue.
In response, Auburn has added offensive line reinforcements through transfers Xavier Chaplin from Virginia Tech and Mason Murphy from USC, while also returning veterans like Dillon Wade, Jeremiah Wright, and Connor Lew.
For Muskrat, finding a program where he can get significant playing time will be key, following the path of Joiner, who has successfully landed with Purdue. As a two-star recruit with only a Tulsa offer, Muskrat is currently unranked in the transfer portal, and a move back to a Group of Five school seems the most likely next step in his career.
