Iowa Basketball Locked In with High Point Transfer Portal Top Tier

Another potential addition for Iowa basketball from the transfer portal has surfaced.

High Point guard Kezza Giffa is said to be planning a visit to Iowa. He has previously checked out USC and has shown interest in Georgia Tech, according to The Portal Report.

Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 165 pounds, Giffa averaged 14.6 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game. His shooting percentages were 44.0% from the field, 31.3% from beyond the arc, and an impressive 85.1% from the free-throw line.

Giffa, who hails from Paris, France, is considered a four-star talent in the transfer portal according to 247Sports, which ranks him as the 69th shooting guard in this class.

As the Hawkeyes aim to finalize their roster under head coach Ben McCollum, adding another seasoned guard with a track record of success would be a great addition to complement Bennett Stirtz, Brendan Hausen, Kael Combs, Isaia Howard, and Tavion Banks in the Iowa backcourt.
