Carolina Panthers Land a Major Win this Weekend

Social Media Reacts to Panthers Selecting Florida Gators DT Cam Jackson

Cam’Ron Jackson was picked by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the second of seven Florida Gators selected this year with the 140th overall pick.

A transfer from Memphis, Jackson finished his five-year college career with 120 tackles and four sacks, spending his final two seasons at Florida. He will now join fellow former Gators Princely Umanmielen and Trevor Etienne in the Panthers’ 2025 rookie class.

As a fifth-round selection, Jackson is expected to compete for the role of third-string nose tackle, vying for a spot against veterans Bobby Brown III and Shy Tuttle.

Following the announcement of the pick, social media erupted with excitement for Florida’s second drafted player of the day.
