He achieved new career highs in goals, assists, and points, leading his team in both assists and total points, and his +22 rating ranked fourth among all players in the league. Kunc had seven multi-point games, highlighted by a standout performance of 2 goals and 2 assists (for a total of 4 points) against HC Vítkovice on October 29. He also enjoyed back-to-back three-point games from January 3-5, including his first Extraliga hat trick against HC Litvínov, as part of a season-long goal streak that saw him score 6 goals and earn 7 points in three games.
Since the 2019-20 season, Kunc has amassed 34 goals, 55 assists, and 89 points, along with 66 penalty minutes across 222 career Extraliga games with HC Olomouc and HC Kometa Brno. He has also contributed 2 goals and 1 assist in 11 playoff appearances, all with HC Olomouc.
Hailing from Brno, Czechia, Kunc previously achieved 3 goals and 3 assists in 23 games with AZ Havířov and HK Horácká Slavia Třebíč in the second-highest Czech league, as well as 37 goals and 20 assists in 42 games with HC Kometa Brno’s under-20 team.
