Amaree Abram, Louisiana Tech Transfer, Chooses Tennessee Vols

Amaree Abram, a transfer from Louisiana Tech, has committed to join the Tennessee Volunteers for the upcoming season.

As Tennessee’s men’s basketball team gears up for another postseason run, they’ve been active in the transfer portal, and Abram is the latest addition to the roster.

Abram’s college journey has included stints at Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, and Louisiana Tech. Last season with Louisiana Tech, he averaged 12.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 42.2% from the field.

During his time at Ole Miss, Abram started 22 games and averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per contest.

A member of the 2022 recruiting class, Abram was a four-star prospect, ranked as the 109th-best player overall, the 18th-best point guard, and the 13th-best player in California according to composite rankings.
