The New York Jets have signed South Alabama wide receiver Jamaal Pritchett as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. Pritchett spent three seasons with the Jaguars after transferring from Tuskegee, where he played for one year.
Last season was a standout year for Pritchett, as he recorded 91 catches for 1,127 yards and nine touchdowns. He led the Sun Belt Conference in both receptions and receiving yards. Over the course of his career at South Alabama, Pritchett totaled 150 receptions for 2,034 yards and 17 touchdowns.
After the 2024 season, Pritchett earned First Team All-Sun Belt honors, and he was also named an All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention in 2023. Additionally, he was invited to the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Before joining South Alabama, Pritchett played at Tuskegee, where he had 27 receptions for 488 yards and three touchdowns. He then transferred to South Alabama to continue his college career.
The Jets, coming off a 5-12 season, are now bringing in Justin Fields to take over as their quarterback. Last year, they drafted standout wide receiver Malachi Corely from Western Kentucky and have now added another talented pass-catcher in Pritchett. This move comes shortly after the team released former Pro Bowler Davante Adams.
