Where are the top college basketball transfer portal power forwards headed next season?
The college basketball transfer portal has officially closed after a record-breaking 2025 cycle, which saw over 2,500 players enter during the 30-day period this spring. Most of the top prospects have already committed elsewhere as teams continue to shape their rosters for the 2025-26 season.
In April, the 247Sports scouting team released its final list of the top 150 transfer portal prospects, highlighting several power forwards. Of the 23 power forwards included in that list, only two remain available as of early May. While undergraduates can no longer enter the portal, there is no specific deadline for transfers to finalize their decisions.
So, who are the top-rated college basketball transfer power forwards, and where have they committed for the 2025-26 season?

Michigan has secured a versatile forward in Yaxel Lendeborg, who is the top transfer in the 2025 cycle following his move from UAB. Standing at 6-foot-9 and weighing 240 pounds, Lendeborg spent the last two seasons with the Blazers after previously transferring from Arizona Western at the JUCO level. In the past season, he averaged 17.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game, while shooting 52.2% from the field and 35.7% from three-point range.
2. Darrion Williams — Uncommitted

Texas Tech star Darrion Williams has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft but is also keeping his college eligibility by entering the transfer portal. Texas Tech has the ability to retain its talent, as evidenced by fellow standout JT Toppin receiving a $ 4 million NIL deal for his return, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander. While NC State has been mentioned as a possible transfer destination for Williams, this could shift as the Wolfpack are expected to add high-profile point guard PJ Haggerty for the 2025-26 season.
