ETSU men’s basketball announced on Monday the signing of 6’8″ transfer forward Jordan McCullum, who joins the team as a rising sophomore from Murray State via the transfer portal.
“Jordan has a lot of potential,” said head coach Brooks Savage. “He’s athletic, can handle the ball, shoot from long range, and we’re thrilled to welcome his size, length, and versatility to the team. He’ll remind our fans of a young Jaden Seymour.”
McCullum hails from Harriman, Tennessee, where he played his freshman, sophomore, and senior years at Harriman High School, and spent his junior year at Huntington Prep in West Virginia, alongside current Buccaneer Maki Johnson. Rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports, he was recognized as the top recruit in West Virginia for the 2024 class before deciding to return to Tennessee. In 2024, he earned the TSSAA 1-A Mr. Basketball award at Harriman, helping the Blue Devils achieve a 27-3 record.
During his single season at Murray State, McCullum appeared in five games, totaling 15 minutes of play, with eight points and two rebounds.
