Big News for the Findlay Oilers

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American offensive lineman Yoesph Carter.

Carter (6’4″, 295 lbs) played two seasons (2023–2024) at the University of Findlay, starting all 16 games as an Oiler. In 2024, he contributed to the offense earning an average of 136 rushing yards per game and received First Team All-American honors from D2Football.com. He was also recognized as a Don Hansen Second Team All-American and an AFCA Second Team All-American. Additionally, he was named First Team All-Region by the D2CCA and shared the title of G-MAC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year. In 2023, Carter helped the Oilers achieve an average of 167.8 rushing yards, with the offense totaling 374.8 yards and 25.4 points per game.

Before joining the University of Findlay, Carter played at Western Illinois University and Jackson State University, participating in 12 games during that time.

The team has also released American defensive back Mark Webb and taken American receiver Ja’Marcus Bradley off the suspended list.
