Maryland Nabs Another Sizzling Decorative Portal Commitment This Tuesday

Maryland football added another transfer portal commitment on Tuesday as they continue to strengthen their offensive line. Carlos Moore, an offensive lineman from Elon, announced his decision to join the Terrapins and head coach Mike Locksley.

The 6-foot-6, 302-pound lineman has two years of eligibility left and will play for Maryland in College Park. During the 2024 season, Moore played in 11 games for Elon, starting 10 of them. He spent four games at left tackle and six at right tackle.

A native of Bowie, MD, Moore returns home after playing high school football at St. John’s College HS. He was a 2022 recruit, and according to his 247Sports profile, Elon was the only school that offered him coming out of high school, as he was unranked.

After entering the transfer portal, Moore received offers from Auburn, Syracuse, and Kansas State before ultimately choosing Maryland. With this addition, the Terrapins now have 16 transfer portal commitments.
