Netflix Unveils New Deion Sanders Documentary Set for 2026 Release

Deion Sanders is getting another deep dive into his life and career, as Netflix announces a new three-part series about the Colorado coach, set to release in 2026.

The series, titled PRIME TIME, will offer an in-depth exploration of Sanders’ journey from his early days as a two-sport professional phenom to his transformation into a coaching icon and media personality. The show promises to highlight the highs, lows, and everything in between of one of the most electrifying and controversial figures in sports.

Bennett Viseltear, known for directing the Truth in 24 documentary for ESPN, will serve as the showrunner. Courtland Bragg and Terrell Riley, both seasoned directors with experience in sports documentaries, will also be behind the camera. The project is a collaboration with NFL Films.

“I’ve shared parts of my journey with you all, but now you’ll finally get to know DEION—the highs, the lows, the truths, and everything in between,” Sanders said in a statement from Netflix.

Entering his third season as head coach at Colorado, Sanders holds a 13-12 record at the FBS level.
