Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium Ranked Among Top 3 College Football Atmospheres
A major sports outlet has ranked the Tennessee Volunteers among the top three for the best atmosphere in college football.
College football is known for its unique and passionate culture, with iconic stadiums creating unforgettable experiences and formidable home-field advantages. Tennessee is fortunate to be home to one of the most electric environments in the sport. According to 247Sports’ ranking of the top 10 atmospheres in college football, Neyland Stadium earned the No. 3 spot.
247Sports’ Carter Bahns highlighted the stadium’s vibrant energy, noting, “The Neyland Stadium experience returned to elite form after the Vols defeated Alabama in the 2022 rivalry game. That kind of passion is evident every time the Vols charge through the T and when the band plays ‘Rocky Top’ to a crowd of over 100,000 in Knoxville.”
This season, the Volunteers will look to leverage their raucous home-field advantage as they prepare to face tough opponents, including Georgia, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, among others.
