Tulane Green Wave Extends Offer to Three-Star Texas Quarterback Corey Dailey

The Tulane Green Wave have officially extended an offer to Corey Dailey, a three-star quarterback from Seguin, Texas, for the 2026 recruiting class.

Head coach Jay Sumrall and his staff have been hard at work on building the team’s future, and after securing a highly sought-after cornerback last week, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Joe Craddock has now stepped in to make a key move. During his scouting efforts, Craddock identified Dailey, a 6’6″, 185-pound quarterback from Seguin High School, and officially offered him a spot.

Although Dailey has not been ranked by 24/7 Sports, he has garnered significant attention from various programs. In addition to Tulane, Dailey has received offers from teams like the Pittsburgh Panthers, Fordham Rams, Lamar Cardinals, UTSA Roadrunners, and Texas State Bobcats, among others.

Dailey attended the Bobcats’ football camp in the summer of 2024, where he made notable improvements in his game. Over the course of his high school career, he has thrown for 6,189 yards, 78 touchdowns, and just 18 interceptions. He’s also contributed on the ground, rushing for 219 yards and six touchdowns on 51 attempts.

In his freshman year, Dailey was named Newcomer of the Year for District 12-5A Division I and has since earned Academic All-District honors. His junior season saw him take another leap, as he was named the District 13-5A Offensive MVP. During that year, he passed for 2,529 yards and 35 touchdowns with only seven interceptions. He also added to his rushing stats, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities.

At 6’6″ and 185 pounds, Dailey possesses the physical tools to be a dynamic quarterback both inside and outside the pocket. His impressive 4.48 shuttle time highlights his athleticism, and his size makes him a tough target for defenders to bring down.
