Mizzou Secures 4-Star LB Commitment from St. Louis Native
The Missouri Tigers have added another key recruit for their 2026 class, landing four-star linebacker and safety Keenan Harris, who announced his commitment on Friday. Harris, a native of St. Louis, plays for St. Louis University High School.
A versatile defensive player, Harris is ranked 364th nationally in composite rankings, with strong positions as both a linebacker (29th) and safety (33rd). Within Missouri, he is considered the fifth-best prospect, trailing a few other top Tiger targets.
Harris is set to visit Columbia officially from June 20-22 and has additional visits planned with Oklahoma and Iowa. Earlier this spring, he visited Oregon, and Kansas State, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Illinois were among the schools on his final list.
Missouri seems to be targeting Harris as a linebacker, with linebackers coach Derek Nicholson leading the recruitment. At 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Harris has the physicality and skill to excel at either position, which he showcased during his high school career.
This marks Missouri’s second commitment for the 2026 class and is a significant win for the Tigers, particularly by keeping one of the top in-state recruits. Harris joins four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar in the class, and with upcoming official visits, more commitments could follow. Harris may also play a key role in helping Mizzou recruit other top Missouri talent.
