
South Carolina Secures Commitments from Twin Four-Star Defensive Linemen
South Carolina has added twin brothers Andrew and Aiden Harris to its 2026 recruiting class, both of whom are four-star defensive linemen, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
As recruiting heats up across the country, the South Carolina Gamecocks are making moves early this summer. The Harris twins, who play defensive line for Weddington High School in Matthews, North Carolina, have committed to join the Gamecocks. They are the sixth and seventh recruits in the class.
Andrew Harris is listed at 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds, while Aiden stands nearly 6-foot-4 and weighs 245 pounds. Aiden is ranked among the top 15 defensive line prospects for the 2026 class, while Andrew is expected to transition into a linebacker role at the next level, according to On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
As juniors, Aiden totaled 82 tackles, including 31 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, and 46 quarterback hurries. Andrew recorded 81 tackles, with 25 behind the line of scrimmage, seven sacks, and 36 hurries.
When making their commitment to South Carolina, the brothers expressed how special it is to have the opportunity to play together at the next level.
