WVU Keeps Momentum Going with 2026 OL Justyn Lyles’ Commitment
West Virginia adds another key piece to its offensive line for the future.

Rich Rodriguez and the West Virginia coaching staff are keeping the momentum going this Father’s Day Sunday with another commitment in the 2026 recruiting class. This time, the Mountaineers land 6’5″, 260-pound offensive lineman Justyn Lyles from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.

“First and foremost, I want to express my utmost gratitude to God, as without His guidance and blessings, I wouldn’t be in the position I am today. I want to thank my family and coaches for believing in me and providing me with the resources and recognition that helped me receive offers from many programs. With that said, I’m excited to announce my commitment to West Virginia University,” Lyles shared on X.

Lyles chose WVU over offers from schools like Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Marshall, Maryland, Ohio, Toledo, UMass, Western Michigan, and more.
