Blues Eyeing Potential Target in Hurricanes Forward Jack Roslovic
One area the St. Louis Blues should look to strengthen this offseason is their center depth, particularly on the third line. There are several intriguing players in free agency who could help fill this need, and one that stands out is Carolina Hurricanes forward Jack Roslovic.
If Roslovic becomes available when free agency opens on July 1, he could be a great fit for the Blues. The 6-foot-1 forward has consistently been an offensive contributor, and this season has been no different. In 81 games with the Hurricanes, Roslovic tallied 22 goals and 39 points, and he’s reached the 40-point mark twice in his career.
Given his solid production, Roslovic could add valuable depth to the Blues’ third line and second power-play unit. Additionally, as a former first-round pick (2015), he brings versatility, being capable of playing both center and wing. This flexibility would allow the Blues to utilize him in various roles, making him even more appealing.
Ultimately, on a short-term, affordable deal, Roslovic could be a smart addition to the Blues’ roster. It’ll be interesting to see if they pursue him this offseason.
