
In the coming weeks, more games are expected to be added to Pitt men’s basketball’s 2025 non-conference schedule as teams finalize plans for the upcoming season.
According to reports, head coach Jeff Capel and the Panthers have scheduled another matchup. Alex Rosinski of @WiscyBusiness reports that Pitt will host Horizon League member Youngstown State on November 3rd at the Petersen Events Center. The Panthers will reportedly pay Youngstown State $100,000 for the game.
This adds to Pitt’s growing non-conference slate, which already includes games against Texas A&M (as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge), West Virginia, and Ohio State.
The ACC also recently released its 18-game conference schedule for Pitt, detailing home and away opponents:
Home Opponents:
Duke, Louisville, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Clemson, SMU, Florida State, NC State, Wake Forest
Away Opponents:
Syracuse, Clemson, Cal, Stanford, Miami, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, Boston College
