Saints Sign Former Falcon Cornerback Jayden Price
The New Orleans Saints have been active recently, making several roster moves, and on Friday, they officially announced the signing of tight end Seth Green, offensive lineman Barry Wesley, and cornerback Jayden Price.
The cornerback position has become a priority for the Saints, especially after losing their top starters from last season, Paulson Adebo and Marshon Lattimore. As of now, Kool-Aid McKinstry is expected to be the team’s top cornerback, with Alontae Taylor, Isaac Yiadom, Rico Payton, Ugo Amadi, and Quincy Riley rounding out the depth chart.
The Saints are also taking a chance on Jayden Price, who played college football at North Dakota State University. Price went undrafted in 2024 but signed with the Atlanta Falcons, only to be released. He later joined the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL), where he had an impressive stint, starting all 10 games and leading the league with 13 pass breakups. He also contributed 27 tackles, 1 sack, and handled some kickoff/punt return duties.

This move is low-risk for the Saints. If Price impresses during camp, he could earn a spot on the roster or the practice squad. If he doesn’t, the financial commitment is minimal.
