
2026 Safety Rickey Giles Commits to West Virginia
West Virginia continues to build its defensive depth for the 2026 class with the addition of safety Rickey Giles.
On Monday afternoon, Giles (5’11”, 185 lbs) from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, announced his commitment to the Mountaineers.
He chose West Virginia over Memphis and Utah, with other offers from schools like North Texas, Oregon State, Purdue, San Diego State, Texas State, Tulsa, UTEP, UTSA, and more.
In his junior season, Giles played in 14 games, recording 51 tackles, two interceptions, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and a sack.
