Aaron Rodgers is making it clear that he’s fully committed to the Pittsburgh Steelers, promising to give it his all as he embarks on what could be his final season in the NFL. The four-time MVP is certainly leaving his mark as he prepares for training camp, signaling his intent to push for a Super Bowl.
In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers talked about his decision to join the Steelers, highlighting standout players like Pat Freiermuth and DK Metcalf. He expressed his readiness for a championship run and, despite this potentially being his last season, assured fans that he’s all in for Pittsburgh.
“I’m going to give the Steelers everything I’ve got this year, leaving it all on the field. I’ll be satisfied with whatever comes, but I’m here to make it count,” Rodgers said about his final NFL run. “Getting the chance to play for Mike [Tomlin] and be part of a storied franchise like Pittsburgh, following in the footsteps of legends like Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, and Joe Greene—it’s truly special to me.”
Rodgers also revealed that he’s putting in extra work this offseason, pushing himself through two-a-day workouts in order to prepare for the demanding season ahead, aiming to play “20 games.”
With Rodgers at the helm, the Steelers are not only looking to end their playoff win drought but also aiming for a Super Bowl title. Rodgers is making it clear that he’s doing everything necessary to help the team achieve that goal.
