NC State Offers 2027 Combo Guard Out of Pennsylvania
NC State Extends Offer to 2027 Combo Guard from Pennsylvania
The North Carolina State Wolfpack are continuing to strengthen their recruiting efforts across all sports and classes. Recently, they made a move to secure one of the top guards in the 2027 men’s basketball class by offering a scholarship to Tyler Sutton, a standout combo guard from Pennsylvania.
NC State has been active in their pursuit of top-tier talent, and they’re particularly focused on bringing in top-tier point guards. In basketball recruiting, offers are often committable, meaning once a scholarship is extended, the program hopes to eventually see a commitment.
Tyler Sutton is among the top recruits in the 2027 class and a highly sought-after prospect. Known for his quickness and versatility, Sutton excels in scoring, getting to the basket, and creating plays. As a combo guard, he’s capable of playing both shooting guard and point guard roles. His skills have already earned him offers from major programs, including Penn State, Washington, and NC State.
Sutton is currently ranked as the 57th overall player in the nation for the 2027 class, the No. 4 combo guard in the country, and the No. 2 player in Pennsylvania. He plays for Roman Catholic High School and is expected to have another standout season.
Although Sutton hasn’t indicated plans for an early commitment, his recruitment is likely to be highly competitive, with several elite college programs vying for his attention when the time comes.
