Gonzaga Schedules Visit with Top-Ranked Recruit from Washington
Gonzaga has set an official visit with one of the top rising stars in the 2026 basketball recruiting class. Four-star forward Ethan Harris, a 6-foot-9 prospect from Camas, Washington, will visit the Bulldogs in Spokane on the weekend of August 30-31, according to his 247Sports profile.
Harris, who caught the attention of Gonzaga’s coaching staff after receiving an offer from head coach Mark Few last month, has seen his recruitment skyrocket following standout performances with Select Basketball in the Puma PRO16 League. He earned all-tournament first-team honors for his shooting and overall play, establishing himself as one of the top three-point shooters at the event.
As a result, Harris was upgraded to a four-star ranking by Rivals, jumping from No. 240 to No. 65 in the 2026 class. He is now ranked as the No. 10 power forward in the country and the top prospect in Washington state.
Harris holds offers from several major programs, including Iowa, Boise State, Colorado State, Saint Louis, Virginia Tech, and Washington. He’s already visited Boise State and Iowa on official trips this summer and doesn’t have any more planned visits after his upcoming trip to Gonzaga.
Harris’ visit to Gonzaga kicks off what promises to be an important recruiting stretch for the Bulldogs as they prepare for the 2025-26 season. Gonzaga is also set to host top recruits like top-20 combo guard JRob Croy (Sept. 12), top-10 center Sam Funches (Oct. 3), and four-star wing Herly Brutus (Oct. 3). The Zags are also pursuing other top prospects, including 2026’s No. 1 player, Tyran Stokes Jr., five-star guard Ikenna Alozie, and newly reclassified 2026 recruit Baba Oladotun, who was formerly the No. 1 player in the 2027 class.
Though visit dates for Stokes, Alozie, and Oladotun are still to be determined, Gonzaga is actively working to secure its first commitment outside of the 2025 class.
Additionally, the Zags are among the top nine schools for four-star wing Luca Foster.
