Jizzle James Addresses Absence, Takes Shots at Teammate via Social Media
Cincinnati Star Guard Jizzle James Criticizes Teammate on Social Media Amid Absence from Team Activities
CINCINNATI — A strange situation is unfolding with the 2025-26 Cincinnati men’s basketball team. Star guard Jizzle James has been sharing confusing and provocative posts on Instagram throughout the summer, with things taking an even stranger turn on Monday when he publicly attacked new teammate Sencire Harris using multiple offensive slurs.
James was notably absent from several team-building events this summer, and his social media activity has raised eyebrows. Recently, he posted a screenshot on his Instagram story showing a series of messages from Harris, including one that read, “If you going to come at me n****, come correct, watch who you talking to.”
In a comment on the post, James responded, “Reason Ian come back to school honestly, these n***** so p****.”
James, a 2025 All-Big 12 honorable mention, led Cincinnati in scoring (12.7 points per game) and assists (3.5) last season. He was one of only three players to start all 35 games and scored in double figures 25 times. Having been a key figure in the program for the last two seasons, his future with the team is now uncertain.
With Cincinnati having depth in the guard position with players like Kerr Kriisa, Day Day Thomas, and Keyshuan Tillery, the team may have options to fill James’ spot if he decides not to return. See the post below:
