That hope was sparked by a comment from Parsons’ brother, Terrance, who revealed just how much Micah wants to be back on the field. “I don’t think people realize how much Micah wanna be out there, man,” he said. Cowboys beat reporter Clarence Hill echoed the sentiment, responding, “He does not want a divorce,” reinforcing the idea that Parsons hasn’t closed the door on staying in Dallas.
Despite the current stalemate, it seems Parsons is still open to working things out — though tensions reportedly escalated when Cowboys owner Jerry Jones took to the media, painting Parsons in a negative light. Rather than negotiating privately, Jones allegedly tried to sway public opinion, which only added fuel to the fire.
While Jones is no stranger to criticism from fans, facing pushback from a player of Parsons’ caliber may have stalled communication entirely.
