Top 3 Trade Candidates for the Detroit Red Wings in 2025-26

As such, three players stand out as the most likely trade candidates for the Red Wings this season.
1. J.T. Compher
J.T. Compher’s time with the Red Wings has been relatively underwhelming. While he’s a reliable middle-six forward, Detroit might be looking to move on from his $5.1 million cap hit, especially if they want to make room for younger players to step into regular roles.
