Big Announcement for Georgetown (Hoyas) University

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University’s squash program, presented by MedStar Health, unveiled its 2025-26 schedule on Friday, as announced by Head Coach Heba El Torky. The Hoyas are coming off an 8-10 season that concluded with their second consecutive Kurtz Cup title at the College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships.

The Hoyas will open the season with three straight road contests before returning to D.C. to wrap up the fall stretch. The campaign begins November 22 against Bowdoin in Annapolis, followed by a trip to Philadelphia to face Drexel on November 23. Georgetown returns to Philly on December 5 for a matchup with Penn, then hosts St. Lawrence at Squash On Fire on December 6 to close out 2025 play.

Spring competition begins with a New England road swing from January 9-11, featuring matches at Middlebury, Amherst, and Williams. The remainder of the dual schedule will be at home, highlighted by visits from Tufts (Jan. 16), Virginia (Jan. 31), and Dickinson (Feb. 21).

Georgetown will also compete in several major tournaments, including the CSA Individual Championships in New York (Jan. 23-27), the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships in Charlottesville (Feb. 13-15), the CSA Divisional Championships in Philadelphia (Feb. 27-Mar. 1), and the CSA National Championships, also in Philadelphia (Mar. 5-8).

The Hoyas return 12 players from last year’s roster while welcoming three newcomers to the squad for the upcoming campaign.
