Missouri Set to Host Rising 2026 OT Prospect for Key November Showdown
Jared Doughty, a 3-star offensive tackle, recently decommitted from Georgia State and is now garnering attention from several top-tier programs. Missouri is expected to host him during one of their most important games this season.
Although the Tigers have had a slow start to the 2026 recruiting cycle, currently holding just 10 commitments as of mid-September, head coach Eli Drinkwitz and his staff are clearly focused on strengthening the class.
This week, Doughty confirmed that he will visit Columbia this fall. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle is scheduled to attend Missouri’s November 8 game against No. 16 Texas A\&M, according to Kenny Van Doren of On3.
Doughty plays for Banneker High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and is ranked as the nation’s No. 75 offensive tackle and the No. 95 player in Georgia by 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Originally committed to Georgia State in June, Doughty recently opened up his recruitment after receiving significant interest from top programs. He decommitted from the Panthers just last week.
Since August 30, Doughty has received offers from schools like Georgia, Auburn, Missouri, and Georgia Tech, and has already visited Athens and Auburn. He’s also expected to be in Atlanta this weekend, September 13, to watch Georgia Tech face Clemson in a major early-season matchup.
Currently, Doughty is Missouri’s only confirmed visitor for the 2026 class, though the Tigers did host several 2027 and 2028 prospects during their Border War victory over Kansas on September 6.
