Roster now sits at 51
The Avalanche made their first round of roster cuts on Monday.
Forward Christian Humphreys was reassigned to the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers, while Max Curran (Edmonton, WHL) and Linus Funck (London, OHL) were returned to their junior clubs to continue their rehab.
Humphreys suited up in Sunday’s preseason opener at DU’s Magness Arena, recording two shots and two penalty minutes.
With the moves, Colorado’s camp roster now sits at 51 players. The team will be back on the ice Tuesday with another two-group practice at Family Sports Center, beginning at 9 a.m.
