Mizzou Gymnastics is absolutely on fire right now. The Tigers just landed their second five-star recruit in the 2026 class—yes, their second in just eight days. She joins Kendall Morgan, who committed back on September 29. Clearly, these Tigers mean business. Something special is brewing at The Zou, and honestly, who wouldn’t want to be part of it?
But first things first—let’s celebrate properly with our unofficial mascot, Dancing Mizzou Baby. His pure joy perfectly sums up what it’s like to be a Mizzou Gymnastics fan right now.
There was no teaser from the official account this time, but deep down, we knew — we absolutely knew — that some big news might be coming. Former Cal commit Imani White, who visited Missouri on September 20, had only taken two official visits: one to Mizzou and one to that other block M school, Michigan.
Imani made her announcement in style, sharing a video of her surprising her teammates at Brandy Johnson’s Gymnastics in Orlando, Florida.

Imani — or “Mani,” as listed on her USA Gymnastics bio — ranks No. 5 in the Class of 2026 according to College Gym News. She’s a standout athlete with multiple appearances in the Level 10 Top 100. Originally from Texas, she now trains at Brandy Johnson’s Gymnastics in Florida, the 2024 DP National Club of the Year.

After official visits to Michigan State, Clemson, Cal, and Michigan, Imani initially committed to Cal-Berkeley in October 2024. Inside Gymnastics praised her for her impeccable bar work and all-around ability, noting that she was “a huge stuck landing on the quest for a National Championship.”
When she reopened her recruitment, Michigan remained in the mix — but ultimately, Missouri, coming off a third-place finish at Nationals, won her over.
