The Denver Nuggets are set to host the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.
The Denver Nuggets are riding a two-game preseason winning streak as they continue to build momentum heading into the 2025-26 season. On Tuesday night, they’ll face a cross-conference challenge when they host the Chicago Bulls. After defeating the LA Clippers in a rematch of last year’s first-round playoff series, Denver returns home looking to extend their early-season success.
The Bulls began their preseason with back-to-back wins over the Cleveland Cavaliers, but their streak came to an end against the Milwaukee Bucks. Now, Chicago heads out on the road for the first time this preseason to take on the Nuggets in Denver, still dealing with a few key players sidelined due to injuries.
Nuggets vs. Bulls injury report
The Bulls will be without star guard Coby White, who is dealing with a calf strain, while Kevin Huerter (groin) and Julian Phillips (knee) are also expected to miss Tuesday’s game. Backup point guard Tre Jones is listed as questionable with a foot injury, leaving his availability against Denver uncertain.
The Nuggets, meanwhile, enter Tuesday’s matchup with a clean bill of health. For the second straight game, Denver reports no injuries—a promising sign as they approach the 2025-26 regular season.
So far, Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is the only significant player to miss a preseason contest through three games. However, the team may soon opt to rest some starters, as NBA squads often give key players at least one night off during the preseason. As of now, Denver has kept all of its stars on the court.
With only two preseason games remaining—Tuesday against the Bulls and Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder—it will be interesting to see how the Nuggets manage their starters before the regular season kicks off. It would be surprising if stars like Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray didn’t get at least one night off over the final two games.
Denver will host the Bulls at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday for their fourth preseason matchup.
