The Cleveland Browns delivered their most complete performance of the season in a convincing victory over the Miami Dolphins, showcasing strength in all three phases—offense, defense, and special teams. According to head coach Kevin Stefanski, the team’s ability to stay disciplined and execute across the board made all the difference in Week 7.
Browns Execute Across the Board
The Browns played a clean, focused game, taking care of the football and minimizing mistakes. Their attention to detail stood out, especially compared to the Dolphins, who were flagged 11 times for 103 yards. In contrast, the Browns committed just five penalties for 37 yards—a significant improvement for a team that has struggled with flags all season.
“Yeah, that was big for us,” Stefanski said of the reduced penalties. “We benefited from a few, and when you’re playing aggressive—especially on special teams—you can draw some flags. But we really emphasized avoiding the ones that are in our control, like pre-snap penalties. And I think overall, we did a good job today.”
A Needed Bounce-Back
The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for Cleveland and gave the team a much-needed boost. Still, Stefanski made it clear that the team isn’t dwelling on the past or getting overly confident.
“We’re focused on what’s ahead of us,” he said. “You can always look back, but that’s not what we’re about.”

Next up, the Browns will hit the road for a tough matchup against rookie quarterback Drake Maye and the surging New England Patriots in Foxborough. That game is set for Sunday at 1 p.m., as Cleveland aims to carry this momentum into another challenging week.
