Another need filled.

Tennessee added another piece to its 2026 recruiting class on Sunday, securing a commitment from tight end Luca Wolf of the NFL Academy. Wolf was previously pledged to Cal, but the Volunteers intensified their pursuit in recent months following Carson Sneed’s flip to North Carolina.

The 6-foot-5, 246-pound prospect, originally from Austria and of Filipino descent, grew up playing multiple sports — primarily basketball and soccer — before transitioning to football. He’s currently refining his skills at the NFL Academy in London. Wolf is now Tennessee’s only tight end commit in the 2026 class after the team signed DaSaahn Brame and Jack Van Dorselaer last cycle.

Wolf made his official visit to Knoxville this weekend, just weeks after receiving his scholarship offer. His offer list also included Virginia, MTSU, South Florida, UCF, and several others, though his only visits so far have been to Tennessee and Cal.

According to 247Sports, Wolf is rated as a three-star recruit, ranking No. 1,353 overall and No. 76 among tight ends nationally.

With Wolf’s commitment, Tennessee now holds 24 total pledges in its 2026 class — a group currently ranked eighth in the nation by 247Sports, with just over a month remaining before the early signing period.
