Before his decision to join Indiana, Novak had received 10 scholarship offers. He’s been a key contributor to Andrean’s success over the past few seasons and is ranked as the 75th best interior offensive lineman nationally and the 16th-best player from Indiana, according to 247 Sports. He also becomes the sixth in-state recruit to commit to IU.

Novak is expected to play interior offensive line at the next level, though he also has the versatility to play tackle. With his height, length, and build, he’s capable of excelling in multiple positions.
