Just in: Rappole Scores as Bulldogs Draw Against Boston

BOSTON, Mass. – At Nickerson Field, the Yale women’s soccer team played Boston University to a 1-1 tie. This brings Yale’s overall record to 5-4-5, while Boston’s record is now 6-5-5.

“Our team is improving, and I’m pleased with how we responded to Saturday’s performance by starting strong in the first half,” said Sarah Martinez, the Loring Family Head Coach. “Unfortunately, we’re not converting our good chances into goals consistently, allowing other teams to stay in the game and gain confidence. Nonetheless, our group put in a tremendous effort tonight. BU is a strong team that plays quickly and with intensity. Overall, I’m happy with our performance, but we need to start turning these efforts into wins.”
