Top 2025 Wing Player Dwayne Aristode Makes a Commitment to Play for the Arizona Men’s Basketball Team.

Arizona’s men’s basketball team’s 2025 recruiting class is taking shape.

Dwayne Aristode, a 6-foot-8 player from the Netherlands, pledged to play for Tommy Lloyd’s team as Arizona’s initial commitment for the 2025 class.

Aristode is regarded as one of the top 20 players in his category, with some scouting services rating him as a five-star prospect. According to 247Sports Composite, he is listed as the 18th best player.

Aristode, who is a small forward, is a member of the Brewster Academy team in New Hampshire. He opted for Arizona instead of Duke, Michigan State, USC, and the NBL Next Stars Program.

Aristode told ESPN that the remarkable culture of winning built by Tommy Lloyd at Arizona. “They have a quick-playing style and strike a good balance between structure and allowing player autonomy.”

Jonathan Givony, an ESPN basketball analyst, stated that Aristode possesses defensive versatility with a 6-foot-10 wingspan and strong skills in 3-point shooting.

Aristode, who is just 17 years old, participated in the Netherlands senior team during this summer.

He is Lloyd’s newest addition to the team, joining as an international player. Arizona’s team this season consists of five players who are from different countries.
