Oklahoma Adds Defensive Tackle Siolaa “Ricky” Lolohea from Transfer Portal
Siolaa “Ricky” Lolohea, a defensive tackle who spent his redshirt freshman year at Utah State, committed to Oklahoma on Tuesday night after visiting the school over the weekend. Lolohea announced his decision on Twitter/X, just days after Oklahoma had re-secured former 5-star defensive tackle David Stone from the portal.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound lineman entered the transfer portal last Friday, and OU quickly extended a scholarship offer.

Lolohea originally signed with Oklahoma State as a 3-star recruit out of Euless (TX) Trinity High School. He redshirted in 2023 and didn’t play in any games for the Cowboys. After transferring to Utah State, he appeared in eight games for the Aggies, recording 10 tackles (six solo) and one tackle for loss. His best performance came in a three-tackle outing against No. 21 Boise State.
Lolohea is Oklahoma’s third portal addition this offseason, joining Cal running back Jaydn Ott and Stanford center Jake Maikkula. The Sooners have seen six players depart the program via the portal this spring.
Lolohea will add valuable depth to an already strong defensive line for Oklahoma. With Damonic Williams and Jayden Jackson returning as starters, and Stone and Gracen Halton set to be key backups, Lolohea will help bolster the unit. Freshman Trent Wilson is also expected to make an impact this fall.
