Giannis Antetokounmpo Makes Bold Statement After Bucks’ Loss to Pacers

Following the Milwaukee Bucks’ 123-115 loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Tuesday, Giannis Antetokounmpo addressed the media with a strong message.

Antetokounmpo emphasized the gravity of the situation, saying, “At the end of the day, it’s not something you should panic about, but it’s not something to take lightly either. It’s life or death. That’s how it is for me. I know what’s at stake. I’ve been here before.”

Despite the team’s loss, the two-time MVP had a standout performance, finishing with 34 points, 18 rebounds, seven assists, and one block, shooting an impressive 14-of-20 from the field in 40 minutes of play.

Damian Lillard also made his return to the starting lineup for the first time since March. Lillard recorded 14 points, three rebounds, and seven assists, but struggled with his shooting, going 4-of-13 from the field and 2-of-8 from beyond the arc in 37 minutes.

Antetokounmpo, now in his 12th season with the Bucks, remains determined despite the team’s 0-2 series deficit.
