He noted that the team reportedly “loves” Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, who is attracting interest from other teams as well.
“Tight end Tyler Warren is likely to go very high, which is no surprise,” Schultz mentioned. “The Jets (No. 7), Bears (No. 10), and Colts (No. 14) all have strong interest in him, and even the Saints might consider him at No. 9. Teams see Warren as a true blue-chip prospect — possessing skills reminiscent of Rob Gronkowski, along with excellent character.
“‘He’s the kind of player you’d consider reaching for — and I say ‘reach’ because tight ends typically don’t go that high,’ remarked a current college scouting director. ‘But he’s a game-changer.'”
