While he didn’t make it to the championship game or the playoffs, Finebaum still called Sanders’ work “remarkable.”
In the past, Finebaum had dismissed Colorado as “irrelevant in the big picture of college football,” prompting a response from Sanders, who criticized Finebaum’s comments as clickbait. It seems the tension has since cooled, with Finebaum now giving Sanders credit for not only his victories but also for putting Colorado back on the college football map.
