Georgia Football Players Left Out of Latest Top 100 College Players List
The Georgia Bulldogs were notably absent from the latest top 100 college football player rankings. After a season where they secured an SEC championship and made it to the college football playoff, as well as having 13 players drafted into the NFL, Georgia’s head coach Kirby Smart and his team are no strangers to success.
However, this offseason has seen some critical commentary about Georgia, and a new one has been added. ON3’s Thomas Goldkamp recently unveiled his top 100 college football players for the 2025 season, and surprisingly, no Georgia player made it into the top 90.
Two Bulldogs did appear on the list, though: Christen Miller at No. 96 and CJ Allen at No. 91, both key returning players for Georgia’s defense. Yet, several other players who contributed significantly last season were notably left off the list.
For instance, KJ Bolden played a prominent role as a true freshman safety, even with NFL-bound veterans like Dan Jackson and Malaki Starks on the roster. Cornerback Daylen Everette had a standout season last year and will return as a starter. Running back Nate Frazier impressed as a freshman and is expected to be Georgia’s top back this season. Plus, Zachariah Branch was one of the most sought-after names in the transfer portal, with Georgia securing his commitment.
These are just a few examples of players who could have made the cut, but were overlooked. While Georgia may not be loaded with the usual number of expected first-round draft picks, considering their consistent top-three recruiting class rankings, it’s hard to ignore that they might deserve a few more spots on this list.
