Duke is now gaining ground in the pursuit of Sarr, an intriguing international wing, especially after the recent shift in momentum following a series of new Crystal Ball predictions for the 18-year-old. The Blue Devils overtook Kansas, as 247Sports’ insider Travis Branham deleted his Kansas prediction earlier this week, signaling that Duke has become the favorite to land Sarr.
This turn of events comes at a crucial time in the 2025-26 roster-building process, with the Blue Devils already boasting a strong roster featuring at least eight rotation players. However, Scheyer’s squad could still use another high-upside wing, and Sarr fits that need perfectly. Standing 6-foot-7 and weighing 190 pounds, Sarr brings exceptional athleticism and versatility.
The Italian-Senegalese standout has already demonstrated his talents against professional competition, making an impact off the bench for FC Barcelona and impressing at last month’s Nike Hoops Summit.
