Houston Rockets Target NBA Superstar Kevin Durant in Three-Team Trade Proposal
In an exciting development for the Houston Rockets, Bleacher Report’s latest trade proposal by Dan Favale suggests a potential blockbuster move that would land NBA superstar Kevin Durant in Houston.
The proposal outlines a three-team trade between the Rockets, Phoenix Suns, and Washington Wizards. Under this deal, the Suns would receive a substantial return, including Jalen Green, Jabari Smith Jr., and two first-round picks (2025 and 2027). Meanwhile, the Wizards would acquire center Jock Landale and a 2029 first-round pick.

Although the Suns would likely be seen as the biggest winners, with their ongoing efforts to break through in the playoffs, this trade would provide the Rockets with the superstar scorer they’ve been seeking.
At 37, Durant is in the latter stages of his career and is focused on securing another championship. The Rockets, with their promising young core, could be an attractive landing spot for Durant, especially after showing solid progress this season before being eliminated by Golden State.
The Rockets’ No. 10 pick in the upcoming draft continues to be a key trade asset in several proposals, and many NBA insiders believe a Durant-to-Houston deal could be a real possibility. As the NBA Draft approaches, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Rockets make a move for a major superstar.
