He has previously been spotted conversing with owner Mark Davis at a Las Vegas Aces game and recently visited Las Vegas again. On December 6, Sanders shared a video on his Instagram Story showcasing Allegiant Stadium, captioning it “legendary.”
It’s uncertain why he was in Las Vegas, especially since Colorado is still awaiting to find out their opponent for the Alamo Bowl. His frequent visits to the city may suggest a personal interest, which only fuels speculation about his desire to be drafted by the Raiders. However, it’s still unclear if that interest is reciprocated.
Should Deion and Shedeur Sanders Team Up with the Raiders? Shedeur’s father, Deion Sanders, has revitalized the Colorado football program as head coach. Before his tenure, Colorado had only one winning season since 2005, but under his leadership, the team is now 9-3 in its second season.

“I hope for Shedeur that doesn’t happen and he has to be his own man in his own career,” the executive commented.
The Raiders might have a coaching vacancy if Antonio Pierce is let go, potentially paving the way for the Sanders to join forces in Las Vegas.
Raiders Need a Quarterback Regardless of their draft preferences, the Raiders have a significant need for a quarterback. Sanders is an appealing choice given his readiness for the pro game and strong performance as a pocket passer. However, he may not possess the athleticism typically associated with top 10 draft quarterbacks.
This year’s quarterback class is considered weaker, which may make Sanders the standout option for the Raiders. They cannot afford to enter the 2025 season with another temporary quarterback solution. His openness about wanting to play in Las Vegas could further attract the Raiders’ interest, even if they don’t view him as the top pick in another draft class.
