Latest Update: High Hopes for Raiders as They Anticipate the Return of Three Key Players Against the Buccaneers

The Raiders added two offensive starters to their injury report on Thursday, but head coach Antonio Pierce provided positive updates during his Friday press conference.

Quarterback Aidan O’Connell missed Thursday’s practice due to illness, while wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was sidelined with an ankle injury. Pierce indicated, as reported by multiple journalists, that both players will be “full go” in Friday’s practice and are anticipated to play against the Buccaneers.

O’Connell returned from a right thumb injury last week and threw two touchdown passes in a 19-17 loss to the Chiefs on Black Friday. Meyers contributed with six receptions for 97 yards in that game, bringing his season totals to 59 catches for 676 yards and two touchdowns.

The Raiders will release their complete injury report and designations for Sunday’s game later on Friday.
