OFFICIAL: Rangers Ink Deal with Elite Forward Talent

New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has signed forward Trey Fix-Wolansky to a one-year deal.

Fix-Wolansky, 26, appeared in 65 games for the Cleveland Monsters in the AHL during the 2024-25 season, tallying 26 goals and 34 assists for 60 points, along with 73 penalty minutes. He also took part in the AHL All-Star Challenge this season. He led the Monsters in total points, shared the team lead in power-play goals (eight), and finished second in both goals and assists. In the playoffs, he chipped in three assists over six games.

The 5-foot-7, 193-pound winger has logged 289 career AHL games over six seasons, recording 112 goals and 147 assists for 259 points, along with 254 penalty minutes. He has been selected to the AHL All-Star Challenge the past two seasons and was named to the AHL Second All-Star Team in both 2022-23 and 2023-24. His best AHL season came in 2022-23 when he set career-highs with 29 goals, 42 assists, and 71 points.

Fix-Wolansky also has NHL experience, having suited up for 26 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets over three seasons (2021-22 to 2023-24), posting six points (four goals, two assists).

A native of Edmonton, Alberta, he was originally drafted by Columbus in the seventh round (204th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
