Bun B’s Trill Burgers to Donate Wednesday’s Profits to Central Texas Flood Relief
Houston rap legend Bun B has announced that Trill Burgers will donate 100% of its profits from both locations on Wednesday to support flood relief efforts in central Texas.
Speaking on the HBCU Legends Podcast, Bun B shared that all proceeds from Trill Burgers’ Shepherd and Louetta Spring locations will go directly to help those affected by the devastating floods in the region.
“We understand the urgent need right now,” Bun B said. “So this Wednesday, we’ll be giving away 100% of the profits from both Trill Burgers locations. It’s a small contribution, but we want to do what we can to help rebuild these communities.” He added, “This disaster is going to require billions to fix, and we want to make sure we’re doing our part.”
The floods in Kerr County have claimed over 100 lives, with Texas Governor Greg Abbott stating that the state won’t rest until all the missing—currently reported at 161 people—are accounted for. Among those affected, Camp Mystic reports that 27 campers and counselors were swept away in the early morning flooding, and some have yet to be located by rescuers.
